To contribute to the local area, our strategic objectives over the next 3 years are:

1. To address inequalities and improve the health and wellbeing of local residents by increasing our range of provision aimed at all age groups and backgrounds in an affordable and accessible venue. We will continue to target the most marginalised in our area (our core beneficiary groups) but will extend provision to the wider community. We will specifically target the growing population of asylum seekers.

2. To contribute to a more resilient community by supporting people to use their strengths and experience and by facilitating connections between people and organisations to be more mutually supportive and opportunistic. We will use a multi faceted approach to achieve this- including providing an information resource for local people.

3. To stimulate community projects and initiatives that can in time, be self managing and independent. The success of The Concrete Garden and other initiatives demonstrates that with the right early support, our area can benefit from a range of independent, vibrant and sustainable services run by local people for local people.

To achieve these, our operational objectives will be:

1. To collaborate and build on strategic and operational partnerships to deliver positive outcomes across key areas (for example YPF / Possil Point, Health and Social Care, Thriving Places and Link Up)

2. To develop our indoor and outdoor spaces to be more attractive and user friendly

3. To promote and market our work more effectively within the community

4. To invest in staff training and capacity building to ensure our venue and services are well managed and high quality

5. To work towards a more sustainable business model with longer term funding and some self generated income.
